Syracuse Hillel hosts weekly Shabbat services at 5:30 PM on Fridays. During the pandemic, some will be socially distanced in our tent, while others will be exclusively virtual. In person services require registration which goes live the previous Monday. You may also sign up for a boxed Shabbat meal or a box with grape juice, challah, and dessert. In Person Services

Fridays at 5:30PM at Hillel

Join us for Shabbat at Syracuse Hillel. We will have an in-person service at Hillel. Attendance requires advanced registration and space at Hillel will be limited. All health and safety guidelines will be observed. Registration opens every Monday and will close when capacity is reached. For more information, contact Rabbi Joel.  

Virtual Services

Fridays Pick-up at 6:15PM

Reservations open every Monday and must be received by Wednesday at 3pm EST. There are two Shabbat Box options:

  1. "Shabbat Meal in a Box" includes grape juice, challah, and dinner for a regular meal swipe. or a charge on your Bursar account.

  2. "Shabbat in a Box" option which includes grape juice, challah, and a sweet treat at no cost to you.
