Syracuse Hillel will hosts three fellowship opportunities for Fall 2022. Fellowships offer a stipend for students who attend a predetermined number of sessions. These fellowships are available to Jewish undergraduate students looking to deepen their relationship to their Jewish identity, engage in Jewish learning, and learn more about Israel, Judaism, and Tzedek (Social Justice). Registration is currently closed but will reopen for the Spring semester.
Israel Learning Fellowship
The Israel Learning Fellowship (ILF) meets weekly and is for students looking to dive deeper into Israeli culture, politics, and history. Students who attend 8 or more sessions will receive a $180 stipend. Students of all class years are welcome. For more information, contact Omer.
Jewish Learning Fellowship
The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) meets weekly and is for students looking to dive deep into life's big questions and create relationships through Jewish texts. Students who attend 8 sessions will receive a $180 stipend. For more information, contact Rabbi Bair.
Tzedek Learning Fellowship
The Tzedek Learning Fellowship is a 6-week cohort to to learn “What’s Jewish About Justice?” In the first ever cohort of TLF, we will explore the ways in which a wide range of social justice issues are influenced by Jewish values, text, and history all while framing our conversations in the context of our home, the city of Syracuse.
